Julia Suriano is a singer, actress, musician and dancer based in New York City. Born and raised in western Massachusetts, Julia grew up in the music industry performing as a professional singer in her early teens in the New England and New York area. Falling in love with classical music brought her to NYC where she graduated from Manhattan School of Music with a BM in Classical Voice Performance, winning ASCAP awards two years in a row for her theatrical performances there.
Before graduating, she made her regional theatre debut at Red Mountain Theatre Company playing Cosette in Les Misérables. She was a soprano scholar under Kent Tritle at The Cathedral of St. John The Divine, and has performed in the symphonic choir with the New York Philharmonic and as a soloist at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
Julia recently starred as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, The 80th Anniversary Celebration at the Kansas City Starlight Theatre directed by Phil McKinley. Be sure to catch her Wick Theatre debut as Julie Jordan in Carousel in Feb/March 2024!
